45 Affirmations for Growing Your Life, Your Writing, and Your Mindset
2026 Affirmations Edition X
Welcome back!
We are officially in the middle of January now. The excitement of the new year has started to settle, routines are returning, and goals that once felt fresh can already feel a little heavier. This is often the point where motivation dips and self doubt tries to sneak in. That is exactly why this moment matters. Not because everything needs to be perfect, but because how we show up now can shape the rest of the year in quiet but powerful ways.
Keeping a positive and grounded mindset as we move through the new year helps keep our goals from falling too far behind us. More importantly, it supports our emotions. When our thoughts become rushed or critical, our energy follows. Affirmations are not about pretending everything is easy or ignoring what feels hard. They are about reminding ourselves that progress still counts, even when it feels slow. They help us return to what we can control, which is how we speak to ourselves and how we choose to move forward. They are simple reminders that help lower anxious thoughts and feelings. The list goes on!
I was reminded of this today on the drive to daycare. It was my first time taking my daughter (6 month old), and I felt more nervous than I expected. Before leaving, I started using affirmations out loud. I repeated, “I am a safe driver. My daughter and I are safe and we are going to have an amazing day.” Almost immediately, my body settled. The more I repeated the affirmation the better I felt. Sometimes affirmations are not about long term goals. Sometimes they are about grounding ourselves in the moment right in front of us. I talk more about this story in the VIP Alcove.
The affirmations below are meant to support both the big picture and the everyday moments that ask us to keep going!
